This testimony collects the experience of a patient who lived with generalized chronic pain accompanied by insomnia, contractures, diffuse pain throughout the body and very intense migraines. As she relates, the symptoms globally affected her body and her daily life, to the point of not being able to identify a single focus of pain, but a constant feeling of generalized discomfort that conditioned both her rest and her functional capacity. Sleepless nights, accumulated exhaustion and the impossibility of physically recovering made her daily life extremely difficult.
The patient explains that her situation was so limiting that even simple actions, such as bending down and getting up again, had become a problem. Furthermore, work didn’t help either, as the physical demands clearly exceeded what her body could tolerate at that time. In this context, she began treatment after her doctor’s recommendation, in whom she fully trusted, and from the first sessions she began to notice very significant improvement.
As she describes, after two months of continued treatment the change was very important. Not only did generalized pain decrease, but also the intensity and frequency of the most severe crises, including disabling migraines that could previously last for days. For her, the experience meant a deep recovery of well-being and functionality, to the point of feeling that she had recovered her life again.
