Alfredo Arias initially came to consultation for musculoskeletal discomfort, but during the process he also mentioned the presence of significant nummular eczema on feet and hands, along with sleep problems, insomnia and morning tiredness. Based on this combination of symptoms, the team proposed incorporating NESA as part of the therapeutic approach, with the intention of intervening not only on the physical symptoms, but also on the tension and rest factors that seemed to influence his evolution.
As the patient himself relates, after about fifteen or eighteen sessions he began to notice a very clear improvement in sleep depth. That change in rest had a positive impact on his daily energy, on his general feeling of well-being and on his mood, restoring greater tranquility when going to sleep and a sensation of fullness he did not previously experience. For Alfredo, one of the most important changes was precisely going back to bed with confidence, knowing he was going to rest better.
Furthermore, although the eczema did not completely disappear, he did observe a notable decrease in its intensity, especially in periods most linked to stress. The case highlights how improvement in rest and internal regulation can have a positive impact on physical conditions that worsen with sustained overload, reinforcing the idea of a global approach to the patient.
