Michelle works in the gynecology unit of her center and describes her work as very rewarding, although also complex. She explains that many patients arrive disoriented because gynecological problems remain a little-discussed topic surrounded by taboo. Therefore, she defends the importance of women being able to speak with confidence about their symptoms, share experiences and seek help.
Among the problems they most treat in gynecology, she mentions pelvic floor and urinary and vaginal infections. She points out that they feel privileged to begin using this technique, highlighting that it is painless and that it helps patients feel more confident. She describes the process as simple: they prepare an exclusive room where the patient can relax during a session of approximately one hour.
Michelle affirms that patients convey very good assessments, feeling more comfortable and safer in their daily lives. The case that has surprised her most was that of a patient who needed to go to the bathroom every five minutes and who currently can lead a normal life, even going up to five hours without going to the bathroom.
For her, this technology is worthwhile due to its ease of use and the possibility of helping in different pathologies.
