Tina Bizjak da Fonseca, gynecologist specialized in pelvic floor, originally from Slovenia and resident in Málaga, practices at HC Marbella International Hospital. She acknowledges that at first she found it hard to believe that a device of that size could generate such significant changes, but her first patients have completely convinced her.
Her most impactful case is a patient with severe overactive bladder and combined insomnia: she got up 6-7 times a night to the bathroom, could not sleep, and work stress worsened the situation even more. After 12 NESA sessions, most nights she doesn’t get up even once, sleeps deeply and has recovered a social life that was previously unthinkable — she even went to an outdoor festival, drank beers and didn’t have to look for a bathroom every 10-15 minutes.
A striking and spontaneous detail: this same patient had a cut nerve in a finger after an old accident that prevented her from moving it, and after treatment she recovered mobility in that finger — an unexpected effect that illustrates the systemic reach of NESA on the peripheral nervous system.
She also has a second patient with sleep problems equally satisfied, consolidating her confidence in the technology for her gynecological practice.
