Juan Muro Zabaleta, physiotherapist with extensive experience in elite sports and currently a member of the Spanish national football team, shares his vision on the value of non-invasive neuromodulation NESA as a key therapeutic tool within integrative physiotherapy.
In his testimony, he reviews a career marked by clinical excellence and experience in environments of maximum performance, having also been part of the Croatian national team and Real Madrid. From this perspective, he emphasizes that physiotherapy and medicine have evolved toward an increasingly global approach, in which understanding the patient requires going beyond a purely structural or local vision of treatment.
Juan Muro focuses on the relevance of the autonomic nervous system, which he defines as one of the great forgotten elements within clinical practice. In his opinion, the scientific knowledge that supports NESA technology precisely covers this therapeutic need, providing a new way to address the patient more completely, integrating physiology, biochemistry, emotion and neurological regulation.
After more than two years of experience with this technology, he assures that its growth among professionals and clinics reflects the growing interest in this type of approach. Far from presenting it as an exclusionary alternative, he presents it as a tool of great added value, capable of complementing other therapies and enriching integrative treatment. For Juan Muro, true clinical success lies in helping patients better and continuing to practice the profession with passion, commitment and a vocation for constant improvement.
