Cristian Contador, physiotherapist and owner of Fisioterapia Contador in Castellón, also works as physiotherapist of CD Castellón. His clinic, with eleven professionals, has a predominantly sporty profile, although it attends to all types of patients.
His main motivation to incorporate NESA is clear: reach patients who are not currently entering the clinic because they don’t find what they’re looking for. He identifies three great areas of unmet demand — stress, anxiety and sleep — and sees in NESA the differentiator that can open that door.
From his experience in professional football, he highlights the enormous potential of NESA in high-performance sport: 48 hours post-match, the athlete arrives destroyed at the stretcher, and conventional physiotherapy practically does not influence sleep and nighttime recovery. A tool that improves that recovery can make the difference between getting injured or not, arriving a millisecond earlier or saving weeks of leave for a club, “because in high performance the difference is in a centimeter”.
Regarding profitability, he has no doubts: stagnant patients who improve, new profiles entering the clinic and a very affordable device cost compared to other technologies.
