Álvaro Campa shares a reflection focused on daily work with athletes and the value NESA can bring within a comprehensive approach to performance and recovery. In his testimony, he highlights that one of the things that most motivates him about his profession is continuous contact both with his colleagues and with the players, within a very positive and close work environment. As he explains, one of the greatest contributions he has found in this technology has been the possibility of acting on the autonomic nervous system, a dimension that previously was addressed more indirectly and that can now be better integrated within the global treatment of the athlete.
From his experience, he considers that working on rest, anxiety and stress is fundamental, especially in elite players, since these factors directly impact performance, recovery and the general state of the body. He emphasizes that a person who does not sleep well or who lives with constant stress can hardly perform at maximum, and that therefore any tool that helps regulate these aspects becomes a very valuable resource.
Álvaro Campa also values the importance of continuing to connect with new generations and of continuing to train, understanding that each learning can end up being useful in working with the athlete. His vision conveys a clear idea: improving the player’s internal well-being is also improving their performance.
