“NESA has proven useful in cases of anxiety and depression associated with chronic pathologies, helping patients improve their emotional and physical balance.”

Video description

Yulissa Berthel, physiotherapist with home service in the Madrid Community under the name Fisión, shares her experience with NESA technology applied in the home setting, especially highlighting a pediatric clinical case of great impact.
The most relevant case is that of a 13-year-old boy in post-surgical recovery from an arachnoid cyst, who presented daily disabling headaches and sleep alterations. He began treatment with NESA one month after surgery, and the evolution was notably faster than expected: in the third session he reduced medication from every 4-8 hours to every 12 hours, and in the sixth-seventh session he went to one daily dose. After the eighth session, the medication was taken only sporadically and punctually.
She highlights as differential advantages of NESA its portability — especially relevant in home physiotherapy —, the imperceptibility of the currents and the possibility of combining it simultaneously with manual therapy, without interference.
At the neurological level she points out improvements in balance, anxiety and depression, pathologies that frequently accompany chronic processes when the patient does not see evolution in their recovery.
