Tania Martín del Hierro, physiotherapist specialized in pelvic floor with more than 15 years of experience in the Madrid Community, explains that what has fascinated her most about NESA technology is its effectiveness while being painless. She currently works in Madrid at Salud Integrativa, where they incorporate different therapies within a holistic treatment.
In her consultation, NESA has been integrated as an outstanding tool in treatments related to insomnia, chronic pelvic pain, overactive bladder and inflammatory pathologies. After more than a year using it, Tania affirms having observed very good results in pelvic floor patients, especially in cases of overactive bladder and chronic pelvic pain, with a direct impact on improving their quality of life.
She emphasizes the importance of the autonomic nervous system in these patients, since mechanisms such as urination, digestion or constipation are related to this part of physiology. Among the most striking cases, she remembers patients with years of evolution and diagnosis of pudendal nerve compression or entrapment. In one of them, after about 12 sessions, she began improving sleep and then recovered habits such as sitting without a cushion or taking long walks.
For Tania, being able to help the patient without generating pain is one of the most valuable aspects of NESA.
