Juan Carlos Castro, medical surgeon specialized in pharmacology and toxicology and manager of the medical devices division at Pixis Pharmaceutical (Colombia), shares his vision on the impact of NESA technology in the clinical field, especially in the treatment of insomnia. In his intervention, he explains that this tool represents an innovative proposal that seeks to break with traditional approaches and offer a therapeutic alternative to patients who have not found effective solutions so far.
As he points out, since they began working with NESA in Colombia, acceptance by healthcare professionals has been very positive, perceiving it as a new therapeutic door in complex pathologies. He also highlights its non-invasive nature, ease of use and good tolerance by patients, factors that contribute to its rapid adoption in clinical practice. Although the initial focus is on insomnia, he emphasizes that its potential goes further, by being applicable in multiple conditions related to the autonomic nervous system.
Likewise, he highlights not only the clinical impact, but also the interest it has aroused in the professional and business field, considering it a technology with potential both in health and in the development of new opportunities within the medical sector.
