Diana Santos, physiotherapist from Salamanca, shares her experience with NESA from a clinic that has been incorporating different disciplines over the years, always seeking to expand the therapeutic range beyond manual therapy.
Her most outstanding clinical case is a 52-year-old patient with fibromyalgia since age 32, who continues with pain, medication and physical limitations, but who describes her current state as being “on a cloud” of well-being and happiness that she cannot explain. The physical change has not yet fully arrived, but the change in her emotional state and perceived quality of life is already so significant that the patient has a clear before and after with NESA. For Diana, that result already justifies continuing to explore the treatment.
From her osteopathy training, she especially values that NESA allows reaching a deeper level of the central nervous system than she reached with manual techniques, and also offers feedback on evolution that she did not have before. She defines NESA as an opening to a much broader and deeper field of work.
Her philosophy on investment in training and technology is clear: it always returns in some way — more patients, better prices or greater breadth of services — and not knowing something prevents even the possibility of discarding it.
