Leire Entrialgo, physiotherapist specialized in athlete treatment, sports physiotherapy and readaptation, works at Gonzalo Concejo’s clinic in Gijón. Her philosophy is based on close treatment, empathy and joint work with the patient toward common objectives.
Her expectations with NESA focus on bringing to the clinic a more global vision of the patient, covering very prevalent issues such as chronic pain, muscle fatigue and sleep disorders, areas where conventional physiotherapy has limitations. She highlights as a differential advantage that being a non-invasive and painless treatment, patient adherence and involvement will be significantly greater.
In high-performance sports, she identifies sleep and muscle fatigue as the two great levers where NESA can make a difference: improving rest directly impacts performance, mood, predisposition to work and personal relationships of the athlete, all simultaneously.
She very positively values the training and resources that NESA makes available to professionals, and bets on coordinated work between professionals who share the same goal: improving patients’ quality of life.
