Albert Moreno, physiotherapist, osteopath and director of BL Clinic in Barcelona, presents the case of Roberto Fariñas, a 36-year-old patient who came to consultation due to chronic muscle fatigue symptoms, sleep alterations and a context marked by stress and anxiety. During the initial assessment, the team identified that psychosocial factors played a relevant role in his general state, affecting both his rest and his ability to face the daily pace, in addition to influencing the appearance of physical discomfort also associated with exercise-derived injuries.
As explained in the testimony, the objective of the approach was not limited only to relieving specific symptoms, but to preserving and improving the patient’s quality of life in the long term. To this end, NESA was incorporated as part of treatment, focusing intervention especially on improving deep sleep and reducing chronic fatigue.
Roberto relates that he began to notice positive changes from the first sessions, especially in the quality of rest, in the feeling of relaxation and in a better disposition to face day to day with greater calm. He also highlights the value of having been able to objectify these improvements through sleep measuring devices, verifying a clear increase in deep sleep time. Thanks to this evolution, he continues to perform maintenance sessions, with a sustained perception of greater rest, recovery and general well-being.
