María González, physiotherapist and osteopath, presents the case of Andrea, also a physiotherapist, who contacted her clinic specifically for NESA technology to treat post-COVID sequelae.
Andrea was asymptomatic during COVID but at 15 days of confinement she developed vasovagal syncopes — fainting — that were repeated especially in social situations. Medical tests ruled out an organic cause, pointing to an autonomic origin linked to post-COVID anxiety. She combined psychological treatment with NESA, and defines the latter as “the little push that was missing”: she was improving with the other therapies but did not finish recovering completely.
After treatment with NESA she has stopped having syncopes, has regained control over her daily life — training, working, shopping without dizziness or vertigo — and anxiety has improved notably. The case is especially significant because Andrea, as a physiotherapist, arrives with her own clinical criteria and decides to bet on NESA after informing herself, now becoming a defender of training in the technology to apply it with her own patients.
