Fábio Araújo, physiotherapist and osteopath, directs his own clinic in Guimarães, Portugal, being the first clinic in Portugal to offer NESA to its patients, with approximately two years of experience with the device.
He came to NESA looking for an alternative to invasive neuromodulation for patients with fear of needles, and discovered the technology visiting trainings in Spain. His most striking case is an 80-year-old patient with spinal canal stenosis whom no doctor wanted to operate on: from the sixth session she entered the clinic smiling and declaring that she could now leave home and walk with quality of life.
He emphasizes that NESA is applicable to practically all pathologies and that, as the technology expands and more professionals use it, they will discover new applications in cases where they previously did not obtain results. He especially values that the treatment is completely painless and imperceptible, which makes it pleasant and accessible for any type of patient.
