Beatriz Roldán is a physiotherapist, osteopath and PNI (psychoneuroimmunology) practitioner, and runs her own physiotherapy clinic in Madrid, where she works with an integrative approach. In this testimonial she reflects on how, despite that holistic way of treating her patients, she felt something was missing in her work — a gap she says she has been able to fill after incorporating non-invasive neuromodulation into her practice, changing both the way she works and her treatments.
As an example, she shares the recent case of a patient with a paresis of the fourth cranial nerve of microvascular origin. She clarifies that it was not a dysautonomic condition, but that the patient was highly motivated to try the technology once she had explained how it might help, so they decided to include it as part of a treatment combined with other approaches.
She relates that, within just a few sessions, the patient began to report an improvement in vision compared with previous days. Beatriz considers the work done with this technology to have been quite key in that change, always within an integrative treatment. Her testimonial reflects the value she places on adding new tools to her approach in order to better support each patient.
