Carlos Serrano

Physiotherapist, osteopath and manager, Serrano Clinic, Alicante

“We have opened up to patients with fibromyalgia and sleep disorders. Before we didn’t have so many patients of this type at the clinic, but with NESA technology, we have seen significant improvements in their quality of life.”

Carlos Serrano, physiotherapist, osteopath and manager of Serrano Clinic in Alicante, multidisciplinary polyclinic with physiotherapy, personal training, nutrition, podiatry and pilates, shares how NESA transformed his therapeutic vision and expanded the patient profile of his clinic.
He learned about NESA during the pandemic through Albert Moreno, and a phrase especially marked him: NESA as “another leg of the table”. But after months of use his perception evolved: for him it is rather “a new room”, because it has opened the door to patients who previously did not reach his clinic or with whom treatment was left halfway.
The profiles where he observes the most impact are fibromyalgia, sleep disorders, stress and anxiety, but also in the sports field — with quite a volume of athletes — applying it between competitions and in post-competition recovery. He also highlights cases of autism spectrum disorder, a profile that previously did not frequent his clinic.
He especially values the possibility of applying NESA simultaneously to manual therapy, allowing the physiotherapist to “be in two places at once”, something no other device offered him. For him, the autonomic nervous system was the great resource without a tool, and NESA has come to fill that void.
