Diego Rodríguez, physiotherapist with 22 years of experience, directs his own practice in Oviedo specialized in traumatology recovery and sports physiotherapy, attending both athletes and patients with muscle injuries and fractures.
Despite having extensive technology and continuous training, he identified patients in whom something was missing to complete their recovery. NESA came to cover exactly that gap. His most impactful clinical case is a very active patient with chronic fatigue syndrome that had bedridden her for months. She came to the clinic because she had seen NESA’s advertising, and after the fifth session her evolution was extraordinary: she resumed sports, started her motorcycle again and could do two hours of route. She currently has discharge and has fully recovered her life.
He emphasizes that before he could recover mobility or control pain, but there were aspects of the injury’s behavior where no changes occurred. Working on the vegetative nervous system produces a radical change in those parts inaccessible to conventional physiotherapy. His usage model combines NESA simultaneously with manual therapy or passively while working with the patient.
He sees in rest and stress treatment a new way of clinical growth with great social demand and little satisfactory pharmacological solution.
