Yelitza Hernández, physiotherapist, currently works at A Pie en Fisioterapia, a clinic located in Icod de los Vinos, Tenerife. She explains that what her patients value most is the attention from the very first moment and the way her problem is addressed from the moment they enter consultation.
For Yelitza, the autonomic nervous system regulates the entire body, although she considers that until now it had been quite forgotten due to the lack of techniques or approaches that allowed accessing it. In her clinic, NESA is having a lot of demand, both due to advertising on social media and, especially, due to word of mouth and the results her more experienced colleagues have observed.
Although she still has less experience using the technology, she highlights cases discussed in the clinic related to complex regional syndrome, overactive bladder and pelvic floor. In her personal experience, what has impacted her most are the cases of chronic pain, especially in patients who had been limited for years and who were not fully responding to conventional treatment.
She values NESA for its ease of use, its painless nature and the possibility of addressing different patient profiles. She also highlights the training, constant research and professional support offered by the technology.
