Sandra Nogués, psychologist specialist in clinical, educational, family, sports psychology and human performance, explains that for years she had been looking for a tool that would complete her way of working. After 25 years of professional experience and incorporating different resources into her practice, she identifies in NESA the tool she was missing, especially due to its relationship with the regulation of the autonomic nervous system.
As she relates, learning about NESA allowed her to close a circle within her professional approach, with the goal of offering a more comprehensive treatment that could act at a mental, emotional and physiological level. She points out that many currents in psychology work mainly from the cognitive part, the analysis of what happens or the origin of certain processes, but she considers it important to also attend to how biology and body memory are expressed somatically.
As an outstanding experience, she mentions the case of an adult woman with anxiety, fear and disorders associated with dependencies. After five sessions, she affirms that the chest pressures disappeared, anxiety was greatly reduced and the patient began to go out into the street, having performed only one or two psychology sessions.
For Sandra, joining her methodology with a non-invasive neuromodulation tool completes her vision of comprehensive treatment.
