Blanca Álvarez de Sotomayor Sarabia, physiotherapist with 22 years of experience and director of Fisioterapia Álvarez de Sotomayor in Córdoba, shares her decision to incorporate NESA motivated by the possibility of addressing the autonomic nervous system deeply and globally, something that with other techniques she could only “touch bits of”.
Two clinical cases especially stand out in her testimony. The first is that of a physiotherapist colleague with lifelong chronic migraines, who in very short time has managed for them to completely subside. The second is a quadriplegic patient who arrives at consultation with high spasticity and stiffness, and after the NESA session leaves notably more loose and relaxed, significantly improving his quality of life.
She especially values the direct and rapid attention of the NESA team, as well as the possibility of advanced training through the expert program, something she considers fundamental to not get stuck as a professional. Her greatest frustration is not being able to advance with a patient, and NESA gives her new tools to overcome those therapeutic limits.
She defines success as closing the clinic every day feeling satisfied with the work done, having helped or correctly referred each patient.
