Yeray Benítez is 32, from Tenerife, and devotes his free time to trail running. In this testimonial he shares his personal experience with muscle fatigue and athletic recovery. He says his passion was born from a radical lifestyle change: he quit smoking from one day to the next and gradually began training until he completed a 42-kilometre mountain marathon on his island.
He recounts that he discovered non-invasive neuromodulation at Kozabi Fisioterapia, the centre where he went for his muscle-release sessions, and that he began using it to reduce muscle fatigue, as well as to treat some neck discomfort he had been carrying. As he describes it, the fatigue decreased noticeably and his recovery times shortened considerably: he explains that, whereas before a race could leave his legs sore for days, after the marathon in which he was already receiving the treatment he barely felt any discomfort the next day.
Yeray also highlights an improvement in his rest, with deeper, more restorative sleep. He shares that his goal is to keep progressing to ever more demanding distances and to reach the finish line feeling good, and that to do so he continues working with this tool as part of his preparation. He concludes by recommending his experience based on what he himself has lived through in his performance and recovery.
