“Living with pain is not living: it makes you depressed, it stops you doing anything, you just cannot move.”

Video description

Carmen is 71 years old, is retired and shares in this testimonial her personal experience after going through an episode of very intense low back pain. She recounts that, although she had always suffered from her back, on this occasion the pain —radiating down her leg— came to completely prevent her daily life: she could not get out of bed and barely putting her foot on the floor made her scream. She describes bluntly what it is like to live with pain like that, to the point of deeply affecting her mood.
She recounts that she had been to the doctor and the hospital, where she was given treatment that only partially relieved her, without the pain ceasing. At the practice of physiotherapist Aída Sabina they proposed addressing it with non-invasive neuromodulation, explaining that it was a gradual and painless process.
Carmen describes a very favourable progression: she recounts that as early as one of the first sessions she began to notice the pain decreasing and that, over the course of a ten-session treatment, she came to be pain-free. She explains that she was able to gradually resume her usual activities, including yoga, and that she recovered her spirits and her drive. She concludes by expressing her enormous gratitude and satisfaction, and recounting that she shares her experience with others around her when she sees that they are suffering similar pain.
