Laura Gutiérrez, director of Consulting de Recuperación Global in Bilbao, shares a reflection on the evolution of physiotherapy, the generational change in the family clinic and the incorporation of new technologies as part of an increasingly global and integrative practice. In her testimony, she explains that taking on the continuity of a consultation with a long trajectory not only involves maintaining a professional legacy, but also adapting it to the new demands of patients and to a physiotherapy that, in very few years, has changed at an accelerated pace with the irruption of new technological tools.
As she relates, in her clinic they have always given great value to the personalization of treatment, but today they consider it essential to combine that base with technologies capable of addressing dimensions that were previously less worked. In this context, she highlights that NESA represents for them a meeting point between the physical and the emotional, especially in a stage marked by the increase of anxiety, fear, sleep alterations and persistent pain. From her experience, one of the areas where they are observing the most results is precisely in improving sleep and, from there, in faster recovery of many patients, including those with spinal pain.
Laura emphasizes that good rest has a decisive role in regeneration and clinical evolution, and considers that NESA is on its way to becoming a basic tool in consultation. For her, true professional success consists of continuing to advance, adapting well to changes and feeling that one is on the right path.
