Sophie Dhenin is a physiotherapist and osteopath who runs Scorpio Clinics in Virginia Water, London. In this testimonial she shares her experience after around eighteen months using non-invasive neuromodulation with a wide variety of patients, many of them with conditions she would not normally have treated within a musculoskeletal practice.
She explains that, although her clinic is generally musculoskeletal in focus, incorporating this technology has allowed them to treat conditions such as sleep problems, anxiety and fibromyalgia — for which she previously felt she could do little of use — with good results, as well as supporting patients with chronic pain. She also shares her own personal experience: she suffered from very severe cramps with no medical explanation, reaching intense pain that affected her daily life, and the treatment helped her to such an extent that those episodes are now a thing of the past, requiring only occasional top-up sessions.
Honestly, she notes that not every case responds the same way, mentioning that some patients with peripheral neuropathy involving significant nerve damage have not experienced the same difference. Her testimonial reflects both the value she places on broadening her approach and a realistic view of the tool’s limits.
