Manuel Rando is 73 years old and shares in this testimonial his personal experience after a long and difficult process of back pain. He recounts that it all began with a fall in the hospital that shattered several lumbar vertebrae, which led to three surgeries in which it was necessary to cement the injured areas. Although the operations went well, the result was not what was expected: he was left with intense pain that would not ease even with very strong painkillers, to the point of not being able to walk, climb stairs or perform everyday actions such as showering or shaving.
He recounts that he came to the practice of physiotherapist María González very limited and low in spirits. The professional explains that they took time to understand his situation and to plan an approach with non-invasive neuromodulation that addressed not only the pain, but also rest and mood, stabilising the base of his nervous system.
Manuel describes a gradual improvement: he recounts that as early as the first sessions he began to notice changes and that he was able to move around without pain for the first time in months. Over time he regained autonomy —he went back to coming to the practice on his own, walking— and actions that had previously been agonising for him, such as showering. He concludes by expressing great satisfaction and gratitude towards the team that supported him, highlighting the warm treatment received throughout the whole process.
