Andrea is 39, a social educator who works at a youth centre. In this testimonial she shares her personal experience after carrying for a long time a radiating pain in her arm that came to affect her daily life: she struggled to pick up her little daughter, it even bothered her when changing gears in the car, and she had to stop training and putting any strain on that arm. She says she had been to various physiotherapists who attributed the discomfort to prolonged breastfeeding —an explanation she was never quite convinced by.
She recounts that, on coming to the practice of physiotherapist Aida Sabina, she began a course of non-invasive neuromodulation. She describes a gradual improvement: around the fifth session she began to notice the intensity of the pain decreasing, and by the midpoint of the process the improvement was already clear, to the point where today she feels her arm has fully recovered.
Throughout the process, the stress associated with her work and family environment —which was connected to that same discomfort— was also addressed. Andrea also highlights how her rest has improved, sleeping more deeply and waking up more relaxed on the nights following her sessions. She currently comes occasionally, as maintenance, to keep managing those stress levels.
