Ana is 33 and a music teacher. A decade ago she was diagnosed with compartment syndrome that caused intense pain in her arms, especially the right one, to the point of preventing her from playing her instruments and carrying out everyday tasks. After years of seeing different professionals who gave her contradictory advice, she came to the practice of physiotherapist Aída Sabina, who proposed an approach aimed not only at relieving her day-to-day pain but at working on the root of the problem through non-invasive neuromodulation.
In this testimonial she explains that, by acting on the autonomic nervous system, she gradually noticed an improvement: less pain and greater mobility. The turning point came when, coinciding with a bout of anxiety, that aspect was also incorporated into the treatment. From then on she describes a significant change, feeling calmer, resting much better and noticing how the pain was easing.
Ana stresses how much it means to her to sleep well —something essential given the demands of her job— and says she has been able to combine this experience with psychological support. She concludes by recommending her experience to people with insomnia, stress or persistent pain, highlighting that it is a non-invasive, painless treatment that she experiences in an atmosphere of calm and relaxation.
